“It was being a runner that mattered, not how fast or how far I could run. The joy was in the act of running and in the journey, not in the destination.”

Kailey grew up locally in Seattle having a tremendous passion for being active, outdoors, whether on the water, in the mountains or enjoying the great Seattle community.  She attended Ballard High School and then the University of Washington where she pursued her love of running as a part of the University of Washington Track and Cross Country teams.  She was a member of the 2008 NCAA women’s cross country national championship team and earned All-American Honors in Track.

Kailey’s competitive side was always complemented by her compassionate side, where she found happiness and personal pride while serving others.  Attending Physical Therapy school was a natural transition, blending her love of leading an active and healthy lifestyle while also helping others on their rehabilitation journey.

Kailey is certified as a STOTT Pilates instructor and loves practicing her own Pilates as well as integrating clinical Pilates into patient care and injury prevention.  She believes that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind, and her treatment style focuses on functional exercise, postural training, and manual therapy.  She believes that the best success is gained when the patient is a key part of the rehabilitation team.

Kailey now lives in Magnolia with her husband, and enjoys being connected to the community that she lives in.  She loves spending time with family and friends, running local road races, boating in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and cheering on her Huskies.
